What does Exempt Private Limited Company (EPC) means?

Exempt Private Limited Company means that it has share capital, less than 20 shareholders and does not have corproate shareholders.

When is the filing deadline?

For non-listed company, usually the Annual General Meeting must be held within 6 months after the financial year end. Annual returns must be filed within 7 months after the financial year end.

Are there any other charges?

Our fees does not include any fees payable to ACRA. For any ad-hoc service request, it is charged on per item basis so as to keep basic fees affordable.

What is XBRL filing requirements?

All Singapore incorporated companies are required to file their financial statements with ACRA unless they are exempted. The filing is done via a XBRL report.

The following companies are required to file their financial statements with ACRA via a XBRL report fil

  • Insolvent companies
  • Non-EPC companies (companies with corporate shareholders or with more than 20 shareholders
  • Companies limited by gurantee
  • Foreign companies with Singapore Branches
  • Companies that are in Banking, Finance and Industry regulated by MAS
  • Companies who prepare their financial using non Singapore or International Financial Reporting Standards (FRS)
